Reginal Championship Qualifier - Magic the Gathering - Modern

Join us at the Provo Card Convention for our upcoming Regional Championship Qualifier (RCQ)! Prove your skills in the Modern format and compete for a massive, expanded prize pool, exclusive promos, and that coveted invite to the Regional Championship.

We are running a professional, competitive-level environment staffed by a Head Judge and 3 Assistant Judges to ensure a smooth, fair, and high-quality tournament experience.

Event Details

• Date: Saturday, August 1st

• Registration / Check-In: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

• Player Roll Call: 10:00 AM

• Location: Provo Town Center (Follow the signage throughout the mall to the tournament space)

• Entry Fee: $35

• Format: Modern (Competitive REL, Swiss rounds based on attendance with a Top 16 cut)

• 3rd – 4th Place: $100 Value (3rd place also receives a Finalist Promo & Regional Invite)

Prize support may change if under 50 attendees, a notification will be sent out if we predict we will not hit the required amount of players.

Tournament Requirements & Rules

Because this is a Competitive REL event, it will strictly follow official Wizards of the Coast rules, standards, and deck list submission policies:

1. Ticket & Registration: Purchase your ticket here online. You must bring either a printed copy or digital proof of your ticket to check-in on the morning of the event.

2. WOTC Account & Companion App: A valid Wizards of the Coast account email is required. Please have the Magic Companion App downloaded and logged in on your mobile device prior to arriving.

3. Decklist Submissions: All players must submit a digital copy of their decklist via Melee.gg, or hand in a physical, completed paper decklist during morning registration before 10:00 AM.
