Dark Saber is a flat-bladed metal lightsaber replica hilt built for dueling: a 470 g machined aluminium hilt, an S-RGB baselit core with a colour-changing blade and smooth-swing sound, and a 32" polycarbonate blade in the box.
The Dark Saber is a flat-profile, angular hilt with a matte black finish and hard, squared-off lines that set it apart from the round-barrel sabers in the collection. Machined from 6061 aluminum, it has a broad, blade-like silhouette in the hand and a chamfered emitter that sits flush against the blade. At 304 mm and roughly 470 g it carries real weight without feeling top-heavy, which makes it a natural fit for slower, heavier dueling styles.
Inside is the RGB-S16 base-lit core with a full-spectrum color mix and a motion-sensitive soundboard. Smooth Swing pitch-shifts the hum with every movement, flash-on-clash fires on contact, and the electronics stay sealed inside the metal hilt so it can take full-contact sparring with a heavy-walled polycarbonate blade.
It ships with a standard 1-inch round blade. Ask us about the flat blade option, which completes the wide, edged look the hilt is built around.

Yes. Our sabers advanced sensors to detect movement, allowing for gesture-based, button-free operation (e.g., twisting to ignite.) Smooth Swing technology adjusts the hum and swing sounds in real-time based on speed and force, while motion controls enable changing colors, fonts, or turning the blade on/off via gestures like throwing, pushing, or pulling.
The Neopixel and Proffieboard sabers are fully customizable. They include an SD card allowing you to add, remove, or edit sound fonts and blade styles.
The S-RGB sabers come with premium sound fonts which cannot be modified.
The number of pre-loaded sound fonts varies depending on the specific core/board type in the lightsaber:
