Regional Championship Qualifier - Magic: The Gathering - Modern 3:00PM

Join us at the Provo Card Convention for our upcoming Regional Championship Qualifier (RCQ)! Prove your skills in the Modern format and compete for a massive, expanded prize pool, exclusive promos, and that coveted invite to the Regional Championship.

We are running a professional, competitive-level environment staffed by a Head Judge and 3 Assistant Judges to ensure a smooth, fair, and high-quality tournament experience.

We are hosting 3 separate RCQ Events, so you have 3 chances to compete for that coveted Regional Championship Invite.

Event Details

• Date: Saturday, August 1st

• Registration / Check-In: 12:30 PM – 03:00 PM

• Player Roll Call: 3:00 PM

• Location: Provo Town Centre (Follow the signage throughout the mall to the tournament space)

• Entry Fee: $10 *Note Fee is waved if ticket for 10AM or 12:30pm RCQ was purchased

• Format: Modern (Competitive REL, Swiss rounds based on attendance with a Top 16 cut)

• NOTE: Purchasing this first slot does get you free entry to the other time slots at  3PM, but dropping out of this event before top 16 are placed could lose you that

• Swag Bag: All participants receive an official player convention swag bag containing a lanyard and card sleeves.

Tournament Requirements & Rules

Because this is a Competitive REL event, it will strictly follow official Wizards of the Coast rules, standards, and deck list submission policies:

1. Ticket & Registration: Purchase your ticket here, online. You must bring either a printed copy or digital proof of your ticket to check in on the morning of the event.

2. WOTC Account & Companion App: A valid Wizards of the Coast account email is required. Please have the Magic Companion App downloaded and logged in on your mobile device prior to arriving.
   

3. Decklist Submissions: All players must submit a digital copy of their decklist via Melee.gg, or hand in a physical, completed paper decklist during morning registration before 10:00 AM.
